Side Notes:

·       To have your vehicle not half in the ground, it must be above the square in the perspective screen. It must also be facing the correct direction. Import another existing vehicle to see which direction it’s facing.

·

·        Always import the Chief as a reference for how big your model is to be.

·        To get your vehicle to spawn in Sapien: (Assuming it’s already added to the globals.globals tag, remember, there can only be 6 vehicles in there; replace the banshee or something)

1.    Open a map in Sapien/aHobov102.

2.    Under the hierarchy view, go into the folder:

3.    Click on Edit Types at the top as shown.

4.    Click ‘Add’. Next you will want to find your vehicle tag (most likely decimator1.vehicle) and click on ‘Add Tags’, making sure to close the window(s).

5.    On the properties palette, click on decimator1.

6.    Scroll down and select the appropriate boxes for gametypes. Select them all like I did if you want to just test your vehicle.

7.    They are also called the multiplayer spawn tags.

8.    Right click on a few different spots on the map, or wherever you need the vehicle(s).

9.    Scroll back up in the Properties palette and change the multiplayer team index number to 1, then right click on some more places. This tells the game what team the vehicles are on. (Meaning only the zero’s will spawn if you are, say blue, etc.)

10.                      Finally, save your map and compile it. Enjoy!
